Samsung revealed the 1.5 GHz Exynos 4212 dual-core SoC

Sam­sung Revealed its lat­est mobile proces­sor, the Exynos 4212, a dual-core chip based on 32nm build process­es and which packs two Cor­tex-A9 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz. The suc­ces­sor to the 1.2GHz SoC used in the Galaxy S II, the Exynos 4212 designed with high­er 3D graph­ics per­for­mance as its focus as much as 50% high­er, and a 30% low­er pow­er-lev­el by using the 32nm High‑K Met­al Gate (HKMG) process tech­nol­o­gy.

Sam­sung Exynos 4212 also packs 1080P record­ing and play­back, an on-chip HDMI 1.4 inter­face. This new SoC will start sam­pling in Q4.
