LG Optimus G Pro Android smartphone announced, packs Quad-Core Processor, 5‑inch 1080p display, 13MP Camera

LG announced its next flag­ship android smart­phone today in Japan, The LG Optimus G Pro. The major upgrade the Optimus G Pro has over its pre­de­cessor is the new 5‑inch 1080p IPS display.

The smart­phone has a 1.7GHz Snap­dragon S4 Pro quad-core chip, 2GB of RAM, 13-mega­pixel cam­era, 32GB built-in stor­age, a micro SDXC slot and LTE, powered by a 3,000 mAh bat­tery and It runs 4.1 Jelly Bean.

The Optimus G Pro will be avail­able in Japan in April, avail­ab­il­ity for rest of the world is yet to be announced. LG did not men­tion the price of the device
