Samsung Galaxy Grand launched in India for INR 21,500

Sam­sung launched Galaxy Grand phab­let in India. Galaxy Grand packs a 5‑inch dis­play. The Galaxy Grand runs on Android Jelly Bean out of box and fea­tures dual-SIM.

Galaxy Grand fea­tures a 1.2GHz dual-core pro­cessor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of intern­al memory and a microSD card slot expand­able up to 64GB. It also fea­tures an 8‑megapixel rear and 2‑megapixel front camera. 

Galaxy Grand packs A‑GPS with Glonass, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, WiFi 802.11 b/​g/​n (2.4 GHz), DLNA, Sensors include Accel­er­o­met­er, Light, Digit­al Com­pass, Prox­im­ity, Gyro sensors.

When it comes to dis­play the 5‑inch TFT LCD dis­play has WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) res­ol­u­tion which gives a low pixel dens­ity. Also the Galaxy Grand does not have dual-act­ive dual-SIMs and Sam­sung is using a call for­ward­ing ser­vice which incur the call charges. The Galaxy Grand powered by stand­ard Li-ion 2,100mAh bat­tery and is avail­able in “Eleg­ant White” and “Metal­lic Blue” col­our options at INR 21500.

As an intro­duct­ory offer, Sam­sung is giv­ing a flip cov­er and INR 8,000 worth of access from its My Ser­vice store from where users can down­load music and videos along with 50GB Drop­box space.
