Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, today introduced Galaxy Beam smartphone, which sports a built-in projector and a 10.1‑inch version of the Galaxy Tab 2.
Galaxy Beam packs a 1GHz dual-core processor, a 4‑inch TFT display with WVGA (800×480) resolution, a 5‑megapixel camera with LED flash supports 720p video recording, 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage, a microSD card slot, a 1.3‑megapixel front facing camera and 14.4 HSPA+ connectivity. Top distinguishing feature in the Galaxy Beam is its built-in HD projector, which can project up to 50 feet wide and is backed by an ultra bright 15 lumens lens and a 2000mAh battery. The Galaxy Beam will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Samsung’s TouchWiz skin.
Samsung also announced Galaxy Tab 2, a 10.1‑inch version successor of Galaxy Tab 10.1. The device features a 1GHz dual-core processor, 10.1‑inch SLCD display with a resolution of 1280×800, 1GB of RAM, a 3 megapixel rear camera and a VGA front facing camera, Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, and 21Mbps HSPA+ connectivity if you opt for the 3G model instead of WiFi. The 10.1‑incher notably comes equipped with a 7,000 mAh batteryThe Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 comes with Android 4.0 ICS out of the box with Samsung’s TouchWiz interface.
The Galaxy Tab 2 comes in 3G and WiFi models with 32GB and 64GB capacities.
