Samsung launched Galaxy Grand phablet in India. Galaxy Grand packs a 5‑inch display. The Galaxy Grand runs on Android Jelly Bean out of box and features dual-SIM.
Galaxy Grand features a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot expandable up to 64GB. It also features an 8‑megapixel rear and 2‑megapixel front camera.
Galaxy Grand packs A‑GPS with Glonass, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz), DLNA, Sensors include Accelerometer, Light, Digital Compass, Proximity, Gyro sensors.
When it comes to display the 5‑inch TFT LCD display has WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) resolution which gives a low pixel density. Also the Galaxy Grand does not have dual-active dual-SIMs and Samsung is using a call forwarding service which incur the call charges. The Galaxy Grand powered by standard Li-ion 2,100mAh battery and is available in “Elegant White” and “Metallic Blue” colour options at INR 21500.
As an introductory offer, Samsung is giving a flip cover and INR 8,000 worth of access from its My Service store from where users can download music and videos along with 50GB Dropbox space.
