Sony Xperia Z Announced, has 5‑inch 1080p display

Sony announced its next flag­ship phone Xper­ia Z at CES. It has a 5‑inch dis­play with 1080p res­ol­u­tion (443 ppi) and is powered with Sony’s Mobile Bravia Engine 2. The Xper­ia Z powered by Qual­comm Snap­dragon S4 Pro quad-core CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM, and a 2330mAh bat­tery that comes with a soft­ware based stam­ina mode for bet­ter bat­tery durability.

The Xper­ia Z has 13 mega­pixel cam­era has the abil­ity to record HDR video on the back and 2 mega­pixel front facing cam­era for video call­ing. Sony Xper­ia Z is a water and dust res­ist­ant smart­phone with a dur­able glass dis​play​.Sony Xper­ia Z runs Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).

It comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack, FM radio with RDS, USB 2.0, WiFi 802.11 b/​g/​n, 4G LTE Con­nectiv­ity, 16 GB intern­al memory, MicroSD card slot expand­able upto 32 GB, Google Play Store, GPS with A‑GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, DLNA Cer­ti­fied, HDMI sup­port, Micro USB, NFC (Near Field Com­mu­nic­a­tion) and WiFi Hot­spot functionality.
