RasberryPi Creditcard Size ARM based Linux PC is On Sale

Long awaited Ras­berry­Pi, A cred­it­card size Linux PC is on sale. The Ras­berry­Pi has 2 models.

The Ras­berry­Pi is powered by ARM11 700MHz pro­cessor backed by 256MB RAM (B Mod­el), Broad­com Video core cap­able of play­ing 1080p, HDMI port, 2 USB ports (mod­el B), ¹⁰⁄₁₀₀ LAN port (Mod­el B), GPIO, UART, I²C bus, SPI bus with two chip selects, powered by 5 volt via MicroUSB or GPIO head­er. You can see the dif­fer­ences etween the A and B mod­els in the fol­low­ing image.

The Ras­berry­Pi planned Oper­at­ing sys­tems are Debi­an GNU/​Linux, Fedora, Arch Linux and recently developers man­aged to run XMBC on RasberryPi.
